Professional Services for the Authority of Finance and Infrastructure (AFI) & the Puerto Rico Department of Education (PRDE) to assist the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) staff during the evaluation of approximately 1,100 school structures that are part of the PRDE. Field inspections and evaluation work were carried out, including reports describing damages and dimensions “DDDs” and rehabilitation needs of the schools that contained cost estimates for programming and accelerated implementation of rehabilitation work were documented.
Develop auction documents for the AFI & PRDE negotiation processes and construction contracts granted. To carry out these tasks, O&M had 27 engineers, architects and/or construction supervisors within the Arecibo, Ponce, and Mayagüez regions. A total of 31 municipalities were covered to meet the needs of the AFI & PRDE in a total of 45 days.
